Libradyke or libralesbian is a gender that is mostly agender but is also in part connected to lesbian as a gender identity. Not everyone who is an agender lesbian are necessarily libradyke as well. Libradyke is a type of libragender.
History
It is unknown who coined the terms Libradyke and Libralesbian, or when they were coined. It was coined on or before July 16th, 2021.[1]
Flags
The old libradyke flag resembled the agender flag, with the distinction that the central stripe is lavender instead of green. It is unknown who made the flag, but according to them, "Lavender was chosen due to its long history associated with lesbians, particularly the reclamation of the term Lavender Menace." On June 6th, 2022, Fandom user Nexate1497 noticed the old Libradyke/Libralesbian flag was identical to the Librandrogyne flag, an older identity coined in 2016.[2]
They made three new versions of the flag so Libradykes/Libralesbians could have more unique flags and avoid confusion or any assumption that all Libralesbians are androgynous in some way (a Libradyke can have any presentation they wish).
The first resembles the agender flag, with the distinction that the central stripe is replaced with the colors of the Dyke (gender) flag by r00.
The second resembles the agender flag, with the distinction that the central stripe is replaced with the main colors of the Lesbiangender flag.
The third resembles the agender flag, with the distinction that the central stripe is replaced with the colors of the most popular Lesbian flag by Emily Gwen.
For each, a version with the Labrys (a common Lesbian symbol[3]) and without were made.
