    The leogender flag.

Leogender, also known as Reigngender, is a zodiacgender based on the constellation Leo. It is a xenogender that is related to strength, regalness, and royalty. Leogender can also refer to any gender that is related to the sign Leo.

    The original leogender flag.

    History

Leogender was coined on July 17, 2014 by Pride-Archive on Tumblr[1]. They also created the original flag in the same post. The second flag was created by Pride-Flags on Deviantart on August 29, 2015[2].

    Flag

In the original leogender flag the colors were chosen to be closely related to nobility.  Purple is a color that’s often related to royalty, and gold represents the crowns and scepters sovereigns would wear.
