    The lavenian flag by kenochoric.

Lavenian refers to a turian (gay man or non-binary person) who is gender non-confoming. It is considered to be a subset of turian. Not all GNC turians need to use lavenian unless they want to. Lavenian is less of a label of itself and is more of a specification, but it can be used in place of turian/gay if the user so chooses.

    Etymology

Lavenian stems from the word "lavender", flowers which are historically tied to GNC people and/or MLM, such as terms like lavender boy. It is strongly tied to terms like lavender boy, but it is specifically for those who identify as gay.

    Flag

The lavenian flag was made by Tumblr user kenochoric on November 13, 2020[1]. Pink is for all kinds of gender non-conformity; pale yellow is for the history and solidarity of gender non-conforming gay men and non-binary people; red is for the community and the diversity within it: purple is for transgender, non-binary, a-spec, etc. lavenians and for tolerance and acceptance for everyone who uses this label; and dark blue is for power, pride, and individual autonomy.
