Laptinnian is a gender in the Scene System that can be described as, ¨a gender that's like a clandestine, mysterious, important meeting¨. It is associated with stereotypical images like tall, solemn people in long, dark trench coats, walking briskly, and an aura of alarmed mystery burgeoning among the shadows of conscience.

Etymology
Laptinnian comes from the Lithuanian word for secret, "paslaptis", and the Irish word for meeting, "cruinniu".
