The koisexual-identifying individual loses their attraction towards the other if they do not interact frequently after meeting. Their attraction can be lost within a day, week, month, or year depending on the individual. If they begin to interact again, the koisexual-identifying individual will regain their attraction.

The term was coined by FANDOM user MoonSMH with the help of FANDOM user MemeTiger21 on September 27th, 2021.[1]
