History
Vestigender was coined on January 5th, 2022 by user CandySkyez.[1] A poll to decide the flag was held shortly after.[2] The name comes from the latin word "vestis", which means "clothing", or "clothe".[3]
Flag
The vestigender flag was decided through a poll on the LGBTA Wiki.[2] It consists of a blue stripe symbolising masculinity, a pink stripe symbolising femininity, two purple stripes symbolising neutrality/androgyny, and a larger gray stripe symbolising other presentations. A moon is in the middle, symbolising the different "phases" of vestigender identities, influenced by gender presentation.
