Line 1:
The name kelkigender is derived from the root word "Kelky", the nickname of the YouTuber Kayco[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfFW-E-d0YNGwefdOWISQIw], who was the first to identify with this term.▼
Kelkigender people can use any pronouns and do not necessarily have to fit any boxes other than using this term specifically, though like with other xenogenders, a kelkigender person will likely consider themself [[non-binary]] and/or [[transgender]]. Neither of these are necessary accompanying terms.
==History==
The original kelkigender pride flag, pictured below, was developed by Fandom user Childsandwich on May 10th, 2021. The two upper stripes are the same general color to represent the unity between the two feelings they represent - the lighter green stripe, at the very top, is pastel to represent childhood and therefore a feeling of being small; the darker green stripe below it represents adventure as it is the color of forest leaves. The middle stripe, which is black, represents the agender, neutrois, genderless, gendervoid, etc. people who use the term, as it symbolizes a void of gender, but also, frustration with gender altogether. Below that is the purple stripe, whose color represents a mix of pink and blue, the shades most often associated with men and women - therefore, it alludes to men and women who use this term, or femininity and masculinity, or a mix of the two, and those who are partially male and/or female. Finally, the yellow stripe represents non-binary people altogether who use the term.▼
