Isotransgender (or Transogender) is a gender modality describing those who have multiple genders (bigender, genderfluid, polygender, pangender, omnigender etc), with one/some of their gender(s) making them feel that they are isogender, and their other gender(s) making them feel that they are transgender.
One may also use the isogender label and/or the transgender label (including terms under the trans umbrella, such as transfeminine).
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user A1ly (also known as ALDA) on December 5, 2021.[1]
Flags
The isotransgender flag was created by the coiner on December 5, 2021. It was inspired by the transgender flag and the alternate isogender flag. The alternate flag is the same; however, it has been flipped.
The second alternative flag was posted via Tumblr blog Beyond MOGAI Pride Flags on June 8, 2021.[2]
Etymology
The prefixes ‘iso’ and trans’ are combined to indicate that the label is related to one's gender(s) feeling transgender but their other gender(s) feeling isogender.
