    The Interpretarian flag

Interpretarian is a mutogender in which someone's gender is interpeted differently by another individual. They may have their own interpretation of their own gender, but they also identify as whatever the other individual interprets them as.

    Examples include:

    - Person X identifies as a woman. Person Y perceives X as a man. Person X now identifies as a man.

    - If person X is with multiple people with different perceptions, X may identify with all these genders, or may pick one.

    Flag and Coining

Yellow and purple are both commonly used for non-binary identities, and the spectrum of gender is represented through a gradient. Interpretarian was created by an anonymous Instagram user via dms. User Four00am helped create the page.

    Etymology

Interpretarian is a play on 'Interpretation' and the suffix -ian, which means 'to belong to.'
