Indiromantic is defined as an aro-spec identity that is the state of having the ability to feel romantic attraction but having a strong desire to not feel said attraction, causing a disconnect from the idea of being in a relationship or expressing romantic attraction. It is still possible for an indiromantic person to desire a romantic relationship, however the idea of actually being in a relationship is overshadowed by the desire to not feel romantic attraction.
Etymology
The prefix indi- is derived from the Latin word 'indigentia' which means 'insatiable desire'.
