Hyporomantic, also known as Hypoemphateromantic, is an identity on the aromantic spectrum that refers to someone who does not experience complete romantic attraction because of hypoempathy. Some hyporomantic individuals may also rarely experience full romantic attraction, but mostly unknowingly or accidentally, and thus it may be often dismissed or glossed over because of incomprehension or misunderstanding regarding what romantic attraction is.
Hyporomanticism may overlap with other aro-spec identities such as greyromantic, laimoromantic or demiromantic.

Hyporomantic people may be non-romantically attracted to any gender, and thus the term may be combined with other identities, for example hypohomoromantic or hypogreyromantic. This term may only be used by individuals who experience hypoempathy.
Flag
The deepening and fading of the shades of grey may represent the shades of strenght that a person holds or is fluid between inside the aromantic spectrum. The center is a simplification of the aromantic flag.
