Hypogender is a feeling that one’s experience of one of their genders is small but intense, compared to their experience of another gender. For example, a hypogirl may feel that their experience of being a girl is smaller or less frequent compared to their other gender(s) but their experience of being a girl is more intense than their other gender(s).
This is the opposite of hypergender.
History & Flag
The term hypogender was coined before July 29, 2016 by an unknown person.[1]
The flags were coined by pride-color-schemes on July 29th, 2016. The meaning of the flags is yet to be known.[1] However, it can be assumed that the flags were inspired by the hypergender flag.
