Holistigender is a gender that, due to deep connection to one’s surroundings and the universe as a whole, is influenced by even small changes in the universe.[1]
Etymology
The prefix "Holisti-" comes from Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, which inspired the gender.
History
The term and flag were created on September 1, 2020 by Tumblr user neopronouns.
