Gendertrumpet is a xenogender and specifically a musicagender which is based around trumpets and their music. It has two possible definitions:

1. A gender based around trumpets, their aesthetics, and at the core, trumpet music and sounds. Since every instrument can be made to produce different kinds of sounds, this could be a diverse gender experience, but the general aesthetic of trumpet music, dominatingly vibrant tones, among other musical aesthetics, is the core of this gender.
2. A subset of genderpiano where someone's gender is affected by playing and/or listening to the trumpet. One may feel their gender more strongly or feel a different gender/gender identity entirely when playing or listening to the trumpet. For example, one may be a demiboy normally, but be juxera when playing to and/or listening to the trumpet.

Someone who is gendertrumpet could also be both of those definitions as well as either one of them.

History

The term gendertrumpet was coined as part of a series of new musicagenders based on instruments on March 8, 2021 by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs.

Flag

The gendertrumpet flag was also designed by Reign of the breadsticcs on March 8, 2021. The yellow color scheme of the flag represents the typical colors of trumpets, and the varying shades of each color represent the varying bright and yet decisively domineering tones most commonly associated with trumpet music.
