Genderspace is a xenogender which is influenced by, related to, better explained or with the attributes of space: away, deep, calm, light, airy, infinite. It is also an umbrella term for any genders that are influenced by or related to different parts of space. The suffix can be replaced for more specific terms, such as gendermoon, genderconstellation, gendermars, gendercallisto, etc. More examples of identities under the genderspace umbrella include astralgender, galaxxin, stargender, caelgender, dipperine, etc.
History
Genderspace was coined on August 22, 2018 by tumblr user just-amogai-blog (aka gayglitch). The flag was created at the same time.[1] The alternate genderspace flag was designed by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs in mid-April of 2021.
