    Gendermirror flag

Gendermirror or Genderreflect is a label for people who mirror the gender of someone who they have an important relationship with. This relationship can be platonic, romantic, or another type of relationships. Some examples could include:

    • Someone having a deep connection with someone who identifies as transgender, they might have realized they are trans from that person.
    • Mirroring the gender of an idol they admire.
    • Mirroring the gender of their romantic partner or friend.

After breaking the bond/relationship with the person who was mirrored, some gendermirror may become "mirrorless" until they find someone else of high importance to them. Others may stay with mirroring the gender.

The sexual orientation counterpart is mirrorsexual
