The genderjukebox flag was created b Dinic. The colors were mostly chosen synaesthetically based on what comes to mind with the word "Jukebox". The lines were chosen to acknowledge musical associations, and a glissando to represent change/fluidity. |

Genderjukebox is a fluid audiogender and musicgender where one whose gender changes over time also experiences or views their gender musically, resulting in their experiences feeling like an ongoing jukebox. This can be from a set amount of genders, follow a specific pattern, or be random.
This is similar to genderplaylist.
History
The term was coined by Dinic of The Anomaly on May 2th, 2021. It was created to describe its experiences with being genderfluid and musicgender. Dinic has synesthesia and creates music, so it experiences its gender more easily through music. The term was coined as an alternative to genderplaylist because the coiner is not very fond of beyond-mogai-pride-flags and wanted to avoid using a term that they coined.
"Jukebox" it admits might not be entirely accurate, but the word was chosen because of the present synaesthetic associations and because it's more fun to say.
