Not to be confused with Fortegender.
Genderforte is an audiogender and type of musicgender that is related to the musical dynamic forte. It is a gender that is loud, possibly close to a binary gender, or another very “prominent” gender such as maverique, but is still connected to music.
History and Flag
The term was coined by Tumblr user ask-pride-color-schemes on or before March 14, 2017.[1] The genderforte flag was created by DeviantArt user Pride-Flags on March 14, 2017.
The flag is the musicgender flag with a stylized "F" in the center. In musical notation, f is used to indicate ‘’forte’’ dynamics, when musicians should perform their part loudly.
