    The gendercaecus flag.

Gendercaecus is a gender that one cannot see or decipher. One may be able to feel the idea of it, as if one were seeing it with one's eyes closed, only able to sense the difference between light and shadow. One's gender also makes it difficult to tell the gender of others, as if viewing them through the same blur of only light and shadow. Sometimes one finds it difficult to understand that others do not experience gender the same way, because this is one's normal.

    History

This term was coined by Tumblr user mogai-luv on 11th August, 2020. The flag was created the same day.[1]

    Etymology

The term comes from the word 'caecus' meaning blind in Latin.
