Line 1:
Gender-Loving-Gender is a format used to describe
These are umbrella identities, and typically aren't used as orientations on their own, however they can if one wants to. Rather, they're mostly use to form a sense of community around a common identity. For example, lesbians, bisexual women, and pansexual women all fall under the category
How To Use
First Letter
The second letter, “L”, is for loving. ▼
The first letter indicates what gender you personally identify as. The most commonly used letters are:
* M: represents men, those who are male-aligned, or are at least partially men.
* W: represents women, those who are female-aligned, or are at least partially women.
* NB or N: represents those who are non-binary.
Theoretically any gender can be abbreviated and represented here. Some other, lesser used letters include:
* A: sometimes represents agender people and sometimes represents abinary people. Occasionally AG is used for agender and AB is used for abinary. This is usually included under non-binary, but sometimes people want to specify this attraction.
* X: represents xenic people. Also sometimes used to represent genderless people. This is usually included under non-binary, but sometimes people want to specify this attraction.
One can fall under multiple of the gender categories at once. Examples of this include: A) One could be genderfluid between two or more genders. B) One could be non-binary but still have a strong connection to masculinity or femininity, so they identify as both non-binary and as a man/woman. C) One could be bigender or multigender, experiencing multiple genders at the same time.
Second Letter
The third letter indicates who you are attracted to, either “M”, “W”, or “N”, meaning the same as above. You could experience that attraction and/or participate in those relationships exclusively or not. One may identify with any of these terms or any combination of them, all dependent upon how one views themself and how one views their relationships/attraction(s).▼
