    The Genamoric pride flag.

Genamorous (previously known as Amor-majoric) is an identity underneath the ENM umbrella, which describes an individual who is open to, or has the capability to enjoy all but one/a few types of relationships. For example, an individual may have no desire to occupy a triad and/or full quad, but is willing to participate in any other partnership. It can also be known as Amomajoric, Genamoric, or Amojoric.

The opposite of genamorous is miscamorous.

    Differentiation/Inclusivity information

    • Genamorous stretches to a disinterest in a max. of one-third of partnerships, in order to maintain the labels purpose whilst having an element of inclusivity.
    • The label does not exclude anyone of a particular identity in another region - aka gender and sexual/romantic orientation(s).
    • It can be used with or without experience in relationships genamorous concerns.
    • A genamorous person can identify as non-monogamous (ENM) or polyamorous as well.
    • Genamorous differs from stereotypical polyamory because individuals may also end up occupying monoamorous/monogamous partnerships, though this is always not the case. It is also a specific term, which people might want to use to explain their identity further.

    History

The term was created by an anonymous fandom user who wishes to go by "QMCR" on this wiki due to disowning their rude username. The official date the label was coined was 3rd September 2021. Currently, there are no resources outside of the wiki that provide further information on the identity.

    Flag

The Genamorous flag was inspired by colour psychology and the original polyamorous flag by Jim Evans. The simplistic flag's stripes were also inspired by Jim Evans' design.

Orange represents orientation and attraction. They gray and pink-ish mixture imbetween represents acceptance. The symbol, a circle cut by a line, represents the "majority" part - the circle represents the majority individuals may be attracted to, and the line represents the minority that aren't included in one's partnership desires. Red represents love, and passion for non-monogamy.
