Gamergender is a gender connected to gaming/being a gamer. It can also be paired with mediagender(s) and can have a “favourite” (the media gender most heavily connected to) mediagender. This can be used by any orientations and pronouns.

History

This term was coined by Tumblr user full-of-teeth on 29th December, 2020. The flag was created on the same day.^[1]

The Genderflag colours come from the discord logo and the discord/twitter video game controller emoji.
