Furflux is a fluctuating gender that changes like moulting fur through the seasons. Many mammals naturally shed and regrow their coats for the colder months to have a thicker coat to keep them warm, and lose some of that fur as it gets warmer to stay cool during summer.[1] The fluctuation of this gender may feel like a gradual change over time, and it may also feel patchy and blotchy, with some parts of the gender changing while others take longer. Unlike furfluid, this specifically is a fluctuating gender, in which the intensity changes, whereas furfluid is just generally a fluid identity and gendered intensity doesn't necessarily change.
