Fummygender is a xenogender in which someone feels a strong connection towards the character Fummy Friend by the Youtuber Professor Toot. Individuals who identify as Fummygender typically either strongly identify with Fummy Friend or want to incorporate Fummy Friend into their gender as to better understand their identity. Like most xenogenders, it was made with neurodivergent people in mind, however it is not exclusive to them.
History
On July 3rd, 2021, the Youtuber Professor Toot uploaded a video to his channel titled "Schnornerd Elementary | Fummy Friend," which introduced the character. In the video, an image of the character is shown as he is heard saying "Man, I'm so funny" followed by a screech as he fades out of existence. Fans of the channel felt a connection to the character and created Fummygender, along with its flag.
