For some people, they may be repulsed at the idea of being in a platonic relationship or engaging in platonic activities themselves, but are fine with platonic relationships that do not involve them. Other people may be repulsed by the idea of platonicism in general. For some people, plato-repulsion is only directed at explicitly platonic relationships; for other people, repulsion may extend to platonic acts or acts that may be interpreted as platonic. What qualifies as a "platonic act" can vary from person to person based upon culture, religion, and personal ideals. Some people may experience varying amounts of plato-repulsion.
