The idea of Foscouvian was proposed by FANDOM user HarmonixLol in a comment of the Scene System explaining their gender experience on May 20, 2021. On May 23, 2021 FANDOM user Reign of the breadticcs named it and put it in the Scene System as a gender without an article. On May 29, 2021 FANDOM user Moorgathan expanded the gender description.
FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs expanded upon the definition to make the alternate definition for FANDOM user CommunitiesNobodyAskedFor, due to their description of their gender experience being too similar to this for a new term entirely. She used the given description by CommunitiesNobodyAskedFor.
