The purple represents androgyny (mixture of female, male and everything in between as gender expressions), white represents non-asexual partners and allies, the lighter pink is romantic love and the darker pink represents femininity. Flixiromantic is the exclusive romantic attraction to femininity and androgyny. It primarily describes the romantic attraction to presentation/expression rather than gender identity, so one is romantically attracted to femininity and androgyny regardless of the actual person’s gender. A flixiromantic person is not romantically attracted to people who present masculinity regardless of their actual gender. This is similar to flixisexual, however it describes the romantic attraction toward others rather than sexual.

This can be a stand alone or a micro label to describe the specifics of another broader sexuality, romantic orientation. It’s not the same as having a preference toward femininity and androgyny but still feeling romantic attraction toward others. This is the romantic attraction solely to those who are feminine or androgynous regarding expression.

    History:

Flixiromantic was coined by two individuals, one going by Bahnous and another going by anonymous. This is the first site/article either of them are publishing it on.
