Finsexual is the exclusive attraction to those who are feminine in nature (FIN), either in their gender and/or their gender presentation. This means finsexual people are attracted to women, feminine aligned and/or feminine presenting non-binary people, and potentially feminine men. Finsexual is not synonymous with the attraction to women, it is the attraction to femininity.

    An alternate finsexual flag.

A finsexual person might be attracted to a man or a non-binary person who presents femininely. A finsexual person may or may not be attracted to women who present masculinely or androgynously. The exact limits of what is "feminine in nature" can be decided by the user. The term was made with non-binary people in mind but binary people can use it.

The masculine equivalent in minsexual. The non-binary equivalent is ninsexual. The romantic equivalent is finromantic.

    History

Finsexual was coined on or before August 23, 2015 by an unknown person.[1][2] The flag was created on August 23, 2015 by Mod Raleigh (pastelmemer) and Tumblr user mutezeppeli. It has no confirmed meaning.
