Finromantic or femromantic is the exclusive romantic attraction to those who are feminine in nature (FIN) in their gender and/or their presentation. This means finromantic individuals are attracted to women, feminine-aligned non-binary individuals, feminine-presenting individuals, and potentially feminine men. Finromanticism is not synonymous with the attraction to women, it is the attraction to femininity.
A finromantic person may be attracted to a man or a non-binary person who presents femininely, and may or may not be attracted to women who present masculinely or androgynously. The exact limits of what is "feminine in nature" can be decided by the user.
The masculine equivalent is minromantic. The non-binary equivalent is ninromantic. The sexual equivalent is finsexual.
History
Finromantic was coined on July of 2014.
