Fictivegender is a neurogender or xenogender under the introgender umbrella exclusive for people of systems. This term is for when someone is in a system that has one or more fictives/fictional introjects, and the presence of the fictive/fictives effects how the person perceives their gender. This term can also also go hand-in-hand with systemfluid or any other system-exclusive gender.

This term falls under the Effective umbrella. Similar terms are listed in the Tubuhive umbrella, the Pluralive umbrella, and/or the the Divinive umbrella.

    History

The term was coined on June 7th, 2018 by tumblr user Freddyisace, and was recoined by Fandom user Syscoric on March 9th, 2021.

    Flag

The flag was made by Syscoric in February of 2021. The grey stripes represent the foggy memory associated with dissociation, the orange to represent mental illness, and the faded blue to represent the seemingly calm state someone is in while in a dissociative state. This flag isn't available.

The current flag was made by FANDOM user Ariathatsme on May 17, 2021. The meaning goes as follows: purple for plurality, yellow for being a fictive, grey for exclusivity to those who are neurodivergent, and white for acceptance. This flag may be seen in a critical manner, as it implies that all systems must be neurodivergent.
