Fictigender is a term for when one's gender is connected to a fictional character(s), a fictional species, or concepts from a work of fiction. One may feel like genders in the real world don’t apply you oneself because one identifies as a fictional character or species. It can be both used as an an umbrella term for a subgroup of xenogenders or as a standalone term.
