The Fempunk was term was coined on an unknown date by the tumblr blog moth-bxy.

The original Fempunk flag concept was created on an unknown date by the tumblr blog moth-bxy, while a high-res flag was created by tumblr blog genderthaumiel on August 30, 2020.[1]
A simplified version of the fempunk flag was created by tumblr blog aroaesflags on January 30, 2021
Fempunkflux
The Fempunkflux term was coined on Nov 10th, 2020 by tumblr blog genderthaumiel.[2]
