Feminafidem is a term for Christians who are transgender women. It was made in order to be inclusive to those who are transgender Christians, as they are often left out in Christian spaces.

The masculine counterpart is virfidem. The non-binary counterpart/counterparts are listed here.

    History

Feminafidem was coined by Cryptocrew on February 2nd of 2021 in order to describe their experiences. Lots of transfeminine Christians are told they can't be both and that they have to choose either being Christian or being transgender, however, this is untrue.

    Etymology

Femina is woman in Latin while fidem is faith in Latin.
