It is often associated with feminity and a connection to girlhood or feminity (as defined in one's society). It includes both cisgender, transgender, genderqueer, and non-binary women. Some non-binary individuals may have a partial connection to being a woman/girl or feminity, in which case they may identify as a non-binary female, woman-aligned and/or fiaspec.
