The term faesari was originally coined by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on January 2, 2018<ref>https://beyond-mogai-pride-flags.tumblr.com/post/169242719870/faesari-a-gender-identity-where-one-feels-most</ref>. The name is based off the Asari, an all female species from the Mass Effect game series. The top half of the flag was based on the color palettes of the Asari. The bottom half represents the idea of femininity.▼
