    The excemasle flag

    Excemasle is type of multigender where an individual near pangender but doesn't identify as male or as a man/boy. Another way to explain it is as an individual who identifies with every gender within their culture and experience, including masculine genders, but not ones that are male in nature.

    The equivalent that excludes female genders is excemelle. The combination of both excemasle and excemelle is excemesle.

    This term is similar to nomagender.

    History and Flag

    The term excemasle was coined by Tumblr user neopronouns on May 13th, 2020.[1] The flag was created by the coiner on January 28th, 2021.[2] The flag's color meanings are currently unknown.

    Etymology

    The prefix exce- is taken from the English word "except" and the suffix -masle is from the Old French word "masle"[1] which translates to "male"[3]
