Evenic was coined as an alternative to cusper, a label which can be uncomfortable for some because of controversy and usage by reactionaries. Unlike cusper, however, evenic is not exclusively for describing a boundary between gender non-conforming cis and trans; evenic can describe someone on the boundary of any two existing identities. These are usually, but not always, identities which typically do not go together. |

Evenic is a term for when an individual is on the boundary of two existing identities. Evenic individuals might feel like they partly or fully fall under both of the identities, or they may not identify as either of them individually.
An example is feeling like one is in-between being a butch lesbian and a romeric trans man. One might feel identification with both labels simultaneously.
