The emojigender flag designed by anonymous FANDOM user.

Emojigender is a xenogender that is related in some way to emoji(s). This may be described as a connection to emojis in general, a connection to multiple specific emojis, or a connection to one specific emoji. Although this is a ningender, a user may express their gender in any way they want. It may also be an aesthetigender, for example, a 🌼gender identifying person may feel drawn to the floral aesthetic.

Pronouns for emojigender can truly be anything, however, emojiself pronouns are generally used. An emojigender user who identifies with one/multiple specific emojis may use subsets of the term, replacing 'emoji' with their chosen emoji(s), such as 🍀gender or 💥💯✨gender. Though, it is important to note that these modified subsets are best used in text conversations. If an emojigender person were to speak of their gender in real life, they would generally modify it further by saying the name of the emoji (ex. clovergender, or collision100sparklegender). They could also simply use 'emojigender' as a general, simplified term.

This term may be used by anyone, but was coined with neurodivergent people in mind.

    History

This term was coined by anonymous FANDOM user on the 29th of June, 2021. The flag was designed on the same day by the same anonymous FANDOM user.

    Flag

The emoji in the centre represents the nature of this gender, and the duality of black and gray represent the main ways someone can feel they are emojigender- a connection to emojis in general (darker gray) and connection to specific emoji(s) (lighter gray). These meanings were coined on the same day the gender and flag were created, by the same FANDOM user.
