Electromantic is a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum where distinguishing romantic feelings is difficult due to feelings of being robotic. This can include confusion about when or if romantic attraction is felt, what romantic attraction feels like, or the difference between romantic and platonic attraction.
The robotic feelings may be because of neurodivergence/mental illness or being otherkin/fictionkin, but this identity is not exclusive to individuals for whom this is the case.
