Eilumescian is a gender in the Sylvian System, one of the four Nature Systems. It is a gender which is both connected to forests, deep naturecore, and their overall aesthetics but which has a specific and strong connection to otherworldly and/or mythological forests. One may feel like their gender is specifically related to mythological forests or a specific part of them. For example, someone may feel that their gender is related to mythological forests if their gender feels deeply naturecoric but also feels distant, unique, foreign, and mystical. Eileumescian people can have any alignment and/or no alignment, and depending on what alignment they have, they could use another term from the Sylvian System to describe themselves. For example, an eilumescian person who is fiaspec could say they're mistic eleumescian, from mistian.

History

The term eilumescian was coined by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs in mid-February of 2021, and the flag was designed later that month by the same user.

Etymology

The term 'eilumescian' comes from the Irish word 'eile' meaning 'other' and the Romanian word 'lume' meaning 'world'.
