E-gender (alternatively egender) is an aesthetigender that is or is closely associated to the e-girl, e-boy, and/or alternative aesthetics commonly found on TikTok. It may feel popular, beautiful, coveted, and attention-worthy. There are several (and honestly infinite) subsets of this gender, such as: e-girlgender, e-boygender, interenby, or simply e-gender.
Being e-girl/e-boygender does not, by any means, automatically align one with a binary gender. These genders serve to describe and associate one's gender experience with the aesthetic of e-girls/e-boys themselves, not the gender binary.
History
E-gender, as well as the subsets e-girlgender, e-boygender, and interenby, and their respective flags were coined and created by Ryan Averill Shawn on February 6th, 2021.[1]
