Egalitarian Polyamory, also called Non-Hierarchical Polyamory, is a form of polyamory in which a person has multiple partners and all partners are considered equal to each other. No defined hierarchy exists as it does in hierarchical polyamory. Each partner is said to be equal and receives equal time, resources, emotional connection, and power in the relationship. No one person has influence nor veto power over another relationship. One may live with, co-parents, or share finances with some or all of their partners' partners, if they only do so with some of their partners they do not consider that to be a sign of a more intimate relationship. It does not matter how long one has been in the relationship—all partners have equal say in important decisions, or their power in decision making is on a case by case basis.

This can be considered the opposite extreme of hierarchical polyamory. An egalitarian polyamorous relationship may or may not involve polyfidelity, though all polyfaithful relationships are egalitarian.
