Echogender is a gender that feels confusing and hard to understand, and in attempts to better understand the gender someone who is echogender will mimic the gender of people around them. Echogender is not absorgender, as someone who is echogender will purposefully copy the gender of people around them so they can better understand their gender, whereas absorgender people naturally absorb other's genders.
