Duosex refers to those whose internal sense of gender/sex is both male and female. One may undergo HRT, surgery, etc, to give their body the sex characteristics of both sexes. For AFAB individuals, this may include getting metoidioplasty, but no vaginectomy.[1]
This term is exclusive to those with dysphoria.
