Duogamy refers to a multisexual (most commonly bisexual) individual who has two exclusive partners, both of which have dissimilar genders, most commonly one of each (binary) gender.[1] It's when an individual has a relationship with two people, both of which have opposing genders.
History
The word duogamous is mentioned in the Bisexual Manifesto in 1990.[2] Because of identity elitism, bisexuality is commonly erased by biphobes for not practicing duogamy, as if they were not truly bisexuals.
