Duflesexual is a term to describe anyone who is sexually attracted to only those of the binary genders (men and women). This identity is similar to binsexual, but different in the way that the sexuality is only applied to those who identify as a binary gender themselves. If one identifies as duofilsexual, they can also be disexual.
The pronounciation of the prefix (dufle) of duflesexual, is pronounced /dōōfōl/ (doo-f-O-le).
History
The current usage and definition of the term were coined by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 2, 2022.[1] Duflesexual, formerly named "duofillesexual" and "duofilsexual", has become what it is now to accomodate english pronunciation.
Etymology
This prefix term "dufle", was accomodated to english pronunciation from duofil. The prefix "duofil" comes from "dýo fýla" which in greek, means 2 genders.
Flag
The new duflesexual and old duflesexual flags were also created by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 1, 2022. The background flags are the lesbian and gay flags. In the center is a triangle of the bisexual flag.
