Disconflux is an identity where one experiences fluid, fluctuating or changing levels of gender disconnect. It can be experienced by transgender and other cisn't individuals. One does not have to be genderfluid or genderflux to experience this.
History
This term was coined by FANDOM user ThatAnnoyingDemigirl on the 12th of July 2021, to create a label for FANDOM user MoreSushi's experience.[1]
Etymology
The first part of this term, discon-, comes from the start of the word disconnect. The end of the term, -flux, is a shortened version of the word fluctuate, commonly used in names of fluctuating identities.
