    The demifidelity flag was coined by a user going by Artemis on December 13th, 2020. The black and grey represent [[Afidelitous|afidelity]], the white represents situational changes in fidelity, the pink represents love and/or bonding, the green represents [[Aromantic Spectrum|aromantic]] or [[Asexual Spectrum|asexual]] people who are demifidelitious, the purple represents unity between partners and equality in all [[Gender|genders]], and the heart represents respect and dignity.

    Semifidelity, hemifidelity or demifidelity is a partial fidelity, or situational/circumstantial/conditional, in which someone is partially/circumstantially/conditionally/situationally afidelitous. This could be due to a wavership, but does not have to be.
