    Demifidelity, Semifidelity, or Hemifidelity is a partial fidelity or conditional fidelity, in which someone is partially or circumstantially afidelitous. This could be due to being in a wavership, or having a changing orientation but does not have to be.

    The adjectives are demifidelitous, semifidelitous and hemifidelitous.

    History

    It is unknown when the term was coined, however it has been used amongst the community since 2018.[1]

    The demifidelity flag was created by a user going by Artemis on December 13th, 2020. The black and grey represent afidelity, the white represents situational changes in fidelity, the pink represents love and/or bonding, the green represents aromantic or asexual people who are demifidelitious, the purple represents unity between partners and equality in all genders, and the heart represents respect and dignity.
