Demicaedsexual is a term under the caedsexual umbrella that describes someone who was once allosexual but is now demisexual due to traumatic events. This is due to the fact that one now needs to have an emotional connection with another in order to build enough trust/safety/comfortability to be feel attraction to them.
This term should only be used by trauma survivors and those with PTSD.
History
The term demicaedsexual was coined on July 23rd, 2021, by FANDOM user TheNelsonSystem, specifically Liu from their system.
